CHRISTINE SIXTEEN 2: ANOTHER HIGH-SCHOOL TRIBUTE TO KISS
PRESS RELEASE
I'm proud to announce that CHRISTINE SIXTEEN 2: ANOTHER HIGH SCHOOL TRIBUTE TO KISS is now available. Kiss fans will be able to buy it from KISS MUSEUM in the coming weeks.
We are really proud of the final product which sounds heavier and more achieved than last year.
The CD has been pressed at 600 copies this time around. The project, just like last year, is still a non-profit venture to encourage teenagers to experiment a style of music that they are not usually familiar with. It also gives them the chance to go to professional recording studio and experiment some media frenzy.
We are also very pleased to welcome kid sensation drummer Angelo Coppola on board. Angelo rocks on three tracks on the new CD.

Hi all! Everything is finally DONE! In fact, the Master CD is already at RSB Disc for manufacturing. The CD inserts and design are also in production. Nothing to do now but wait to get my (and your) hands on the final product, which should be during the week of April 23rd.
I also replaced the previous samples with the new mastered ones. Plus, I added 2 more samples: Shock Me and THE FIRST 2 MINUTES OF JUNGLE. Just head to the Media section to listen to them...

Mixing is done! Mastering process will take place during the first week of April. You can now find 7 samples in the media section. Release is still planned before the end of April.

Hi again! I hope you all had a great holiday season. Again, thanks to everyone for a marvelous 2006. That's a year we'll never forget... It was awesome! All that happened with our first project exceeded our wildest dreams. We never tough for a second that it would get the reception it got... Thanks to all of you!
Alright! The vocals are DONE! The kids spent 2 days at the studio to record everything. The first day was dedicated mostly to lead vocals and the following day to back-ups. We had a great time as you might notice on the pictures I posted last week. As always, our sound engineer Julien did an incredible job in the booth.
The CD is still scheduled to be release during April... Stay tuned...

Hi folks! Sorry for the lack of updates recently. Don't worry though, the project is going along just fine. You probably noticed that we changed our web address. Since we will do other tributes not related to KISS, the change was in order. We also changed host so the site is now faster than the previous one.
We had a little set back at the beginning of December so we weren't able to go to the studio to record the vocals. We'll go on January 7th and 8th.
I already received Angelo's drum tracks for Deuce, War Machine and Shock Me. The kid is amazing. I can't wait to do the final mixdown with him on these 3 songs.
Also, a new pictures gallery is now up. If you want to view full size image, just click on the "Full Screen Window" on the top right. We should fix that this week when time permits. Sadly, I completely forgot to bring the camera when we were recording guitars... My bad! But I'll have pics of the kids at the studio as soon as we're done. Right now you can view the front cover of the upcoming CD. It's the work of my friend Kip Pesuti who, once again, did an amazing job. I hope you like it.
Finally, the kids and I would like to wish you all a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year... Take care!

Guitars are finally done. It took a little longer than expected but it sounds great. As always, sound engineer Julien Fortin of Studio SEM 1492 was incredible in the PA booth.
As mentionned before, the kids will be at Studio SEM 1492 December 1st and 2nd to record the vocals. We had many rehearsals since October and they are getting very comfortable with the songs...
Also, Angelo Coppola is heading to the studio as well. He'll be at The Subterranean in Mount Clemens, Michigan on November 24th to record the drum tracks for Deuce, War Machine and Shock Me under the supervision of engineer Will Tompkins.
October 25th 2006
Bass and drums are in the can. David and Francis spent the past week-end in the studio to record. Next week-end, Pascal wll record the guitar tracks.

I'm very proud to announce that kid-wonder Angelo Coppola will join the teens of Christine Sixteen on drums for two songs on their upcoming CD. Like other musical geniuses before him, the talent of Angelo Coppola was obvious at an early age. He recently appeared, at age 9, on the TV show AMERICA'S MOST TALENTED KIDS, where he received a standing ovation after playing Rock And Roll All Nite on drums.
Since then, he has recorded and released his first CD, entitled Pound For Pound, which is available at his website. You can also view his amazing talent in some videos, including a medley of KISS songs, on his MySpace page.
All the teenagers of Christine Sixteen are very excited and proud to welcome Angelo to the Christine Sixteen tribute family. With Angelo now on board, we can really say that KISS, and our project, are reaching more and more generations.
..........
At least two others who worked on the first project are returning. Kip Pesuti, who created the Bruce Kulick in make-up artwork from the first CD is working on the front cover as we speak. David Rivera, from AltDeco Design, has once again built the project's website and will be creating the rest of the CD and insert artwork.
..........
The musicians will be in the studio two weekends in a row starting October 20th. The singers will then head into the studio in the middle of November.
..........
It's very likely the kids will appear in a documentary made by Global TV in Canada. More news to follow about that.
